Charlottetown artist Scott Byrne paints expressive landscapes to capture youthful feelings of love, beauty and curiosity. Using a limited palette of acrylic paint, he focuses on form and abstraction through a quick, instinctual process. Combining the emotion of colour and familiar sights Scott coaxes a feeling of nostalgia from the viewer. Scott's at home in Prince Edward Island, Canada and was born in Ontario in '92.

You can find Scott's paintings at The Blooming Lupin in Charlottetown, opening April 2019.

When Scott's not painting, he works at WSA Solutions as a designer and front-end developer in Stratford, PEI.
